THANKYOU AND GOODBYE TO ADRIAN WROE!

Unfortunately, Adrian Wroe resigned from our Committee earlier in the year, he has taken a position with Imaxeon and is unable to commit his time. Adrian has been a member of the committee since 2014, in that time he has performed the role of Vice President.

On behalf of the NSWSNMS committee and our members we would like to thank Adrian for his hard work and contribution to the committee, we wish him well.
On that note, we are lucky to have Kate Anderson join our committee, Kate is the NSW and ACT Sales Manager at GMS. We would like to welcome Kate and look forward to working with her.


RADPHARM AWARD 2019 WINNER:

Congratulations to Jorden Reynolds from HNELHD Nuclear Medicine & PET Imaging.

The Radpharm Award was held at the Hunter Technologist Group Meeting – Crowne Plaza, Pokolbin on the 8th September 2018. We had several excellent entrants.

The winning Case Study – “Many Brains make Light Work” was presented by Jorden Reynolds.

Jorden will represent NSW at the 49th Annual ANZSNM Scientific Meeting in Adelaide, SA on the 26th-28th April 2019.


AHPRA REGISTRATION:

The 30th November is the renewal date for your AHPRA registration, otherwise late fees apply.

This also indicates the end of the CPD triennium. Time to check you have your 60 hours over the three-year period with a minimum of 10 hours in any one year.

LAST MEETING & AGM FOR 2018:

Tuesday 4th December – Bankstown – Lidcombe Hospital, Auditorium Level 4.

Assoc. Prof. Barry Elison & Ms Jacqueline Behn will be presenting “Cardiac Flow Reserve using MIBI – The Bankstown  Hospital Experience”.

6pm – Dinner & Drinks
7pm – Presentation & AGM (including election of the Executive Committee)

RADPHARM AWARD-NEW RULES :

The Radpharm Award Rules can be viewed at the NSWSNMS website www.nswsnms.org.au

NB: The prizes have been reviewed. State winners will receive sponsorship from Radpharm/GMS for full registration to present their winning case study at the Technologist Symposium at the ASM.

The National prize winner will receive full registration to the ASM the following year, a summary of their case study published in the Gamma Gazette and a plaque awarded at the gala dinner.

CPD ACTIVITIES:

Our 2018 CPD package is on the website and will be available to financial members until the 28th of February when your membership renewal is due! There are four CPD activities on  www.nswsnms.org.au Thankyou to the authors Melissa Shields, Dr Adeola Ayoola, Jennifer Calcott and Cassandra Tran.
